Lab Mould Press

“MV” Lab Mould Press is used for Curing of rubber Specimen/Slab/Button in Laboratory.
In “MV” Mould Press Rubber is cured under specified Temperature, Pressure and Time..
The Rubber Slab/Button is cured with a Standard Mould. The Rubber is put in this mould for specified time and temperature and then we can receive a standard rubber sheet depending the standard size of mould.The standard size of mould is: 150 X150 X2 mm. Here 150mm is Width and Length, 2 mm is the Thickness of rubber sheet. The Rubber Specimen must be prepared carefully under specified parameters such as Pressure, Temperature


In Built Temperature Controller is used for Controlling theTemperature. These Temperature controller are auto cut and cut the supply of current to heater when set point is reached.Two Rectangle Type Heater(12X6 Inches) are used for Heating the platens. There are Two Platens each containing one rectangle type Heater. The Mould Filled with sample rubber is sandwitched between these two platens. When these Platten get Heat then apply the pressure on these platens for curing the rubber sheet. RTD’s are used to sense the Temperature and give signal to inbuilt temperature controller with the help of Solid State Relay(SSR). Hydraulic Power Pack Pump is used for applying the pressure between two platens. Hydraulic Power Pack contains Two Solenoid Valve, High Pressure and Low Pressure Valve. A Plunger pump and one Gear Pump. 5 H.p Motor and A Pressure Transducer Of 400 BAR is provided for converting & Displaying the required Pressure. A Pressure gauge is provided to display required Hydraulic Pressure. ON Push Button is used for START machine and Emergency Switch is used for STOP machine immediately.

Electrical Requirements
To Operate this machine a Three Phase 440 Volt Power Supply through MCB Point of 16 ampere Capacity is required. Machine should be given good foundation & Proper Earthing.

How To Run Machine
There is Three Indicator R,Y,B .These are the Phase indicator. Before starting the machine, we should ensure that there is proper three phase supply is coming. After Switching on the machine Human Machine interface (HMI) display is ON. Heating Start. HMI display shows the Temperature. We can change the preset temperature through HMI by entering in HMI settings Window. When Preset Temperature is achieved , then we put the mould which is filled with rubber between two plates of Heaters. Then we give the Start command through HMI or through Push Button. After Giving the start command Hydraulic pump motor is start then bumping is start. The number of cycles for bumping can be set by entering in HMI settings Window. The load value is already set through
High Pressure and Low Pressure Valve. The load Value is Displayed in HMI. The number of precycles and Temperature value is also displayed through HMI.

After bumping, The Test is start, Hydraulic Motor Stop. Timer is “ON”. The Time is also preset by entering in HMI setting Window. The Rubber Specimen is put for testing for specified Time , Temperature and Load.After Completion of preset Timing , The Hydraulic motor Start , The Controller Give command to Slenoid Valve to down the platen and release the pressure. At this time The Test is completed and we can keep out the rubber sample Mould from the Heater Plate and check the sample that curing is ok or not. This Machine is containing heavy duty power pack with High Pressure Valve and Low Pressure Valve. One
Pressure Transducer is used for converting and displaying the load Value on HMI display. One Set of Solenoid Valve is also used for giving the Up and Down Command to Cylinder. One Analog pressure gauge is also used for Observe and Display the Pressure. 

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

  1.  It Should be check time to time that Oil Tank always have oil at appropriate level.
  2. There should be no leakage of Pressure and no leakage of Oil.
  3. RTD’s and Heater always are on proper place.
  4.  Temperature should be always cross check time to time.
  5. Oil Tank should be prevent from dust.
